Well, building a website map practically ensures that you'll be able to please both.

For the humans, it's a treasure map.

And, for the internet spiders, your website map is an easily indexed file that reveals every page of your site for them.

Nothing could be easier, right? Let's make sure there's nothing easier.

How to Build a Site Map

In an ideal world, we'd want to add to our site map every time we've built a new web page.

But, if you've fallen behind, it'll be easy to catch up.

Your website map will exist as any other page does on your website.

"Note for SBI Users"

Those of you using SiteBuildIt! will want your site map to be a Tier 2 page!

For those of you not familiar with the SBI 3-Tier structure, this means that no page is more than 2 clicks from your home page.

This makes your blueprint easily understandable and easy to navigate.

Your Sitemap Outline

Your website map will be in outline form with the major sections of your website (Tier 2's) clickable and listed in bold.

Each of your Tier 2 pages should have several subheadings (Tier 3's) also clickable.
