The Secrets of Most Popular Websites
"Most Popular Websites Use the Same 3 Tactics to Increase Website Traffic"
The most popular websites owned by individuals or small businesses that enjoy substantial website traffic do very similar things.
You're probably here because you'd like to see increased website traffic, too, right?
One reason I've enjoyed writing this article for you is because I know these web design tips work -- and they are of low cost or no cost to you.
That's probably the best part of it.
Since most small businesses or sole proprietorships don't have unlimited cash on which to draw upon, it's important to find low cost or no cost alternatives that still provide the desired result.
3 Website Building Tips for Increased Website Traffic...
1) Starting a Blog - Okay, just like everything else, there are 2 sides to this story.
The most important reason to create a blog is to raise your website rank via quality in-pointing links to your site.
Much like with EzineArticles.com, you'll want to put the most detailed articles and content on your website and the articles of lesser detail on your blog.
Continue reading more on this important point in the article "Blog or Build".
2) Exchanging Links - Link popularity is critical to your website success.
You'll want to have reputable sites telling their loyal readers that your website is one of value and offers something that they need to see, read, or experience.
The most successful link exchanges offer value not only in content, but in the exchange itself for the readers and the website owners.
I use Value Exchange to help me find and contact reputable sites with which to exchange links.

3) Updating Daily - It's funny. As passionate as you may be about your area of expertise, there are just some days when you won't want to write or shoot a video.
That's okay -- sort of.
It's okay to take a day off now and then.
The important piece is not to let a day of not writing turn into a week, then a month, then...
Get my point?
Take a look at the sites that you visit most often.
You probably return to see what's new on their page. You realize that they update often and that information is valuable to you.
If some of those sites stopped updating, do you think you'd visit them as often? Probably not.
